Requirements:
3-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance

Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or an equivalent degree in an appropriate discipline

Incumbent should be well versed in SQL Server 2005/2008 and .NET C#
Writing and executing testing plans

Have complete functional knowledge of all current and in-development applications

Fully responsible for effectiveness of testing results and defect-finding efficiency

Attend all appropriate design meetings to give (recommend quality improvements, testability issues) and receive/disseminate test and project information

Must have strong interpersonal skills to maintain a cohesive team in achieving their goals

Should be able to foster innovation and participation in continuous process improvement

Experience of formal technical reviews will be a definite plus Extensive experience in blackbox testing

Experience in using automated testing tools

Experience in stress and performance testing desired, but not required.

Board of Revenue now intends to hire following individual consultants for the management and improvement of this software.

Consultant (Software QA) -01 Position
- Must be less than 35 years of age.

- Must have a 4 years Bachelors degree with at least 50% marks from a reputed foreign or national HEC-recognized institution.

- Must have at least 3 years hands-on post-qualification experience in software development with 2 years in software testing.

- Should have track record of demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing test strategies, test cases and test plans in actual projects.

- Should have a good understanding of software Testing and QA standards.
-Knowledge and experience of software testing tools such as QTP. Rational Robot, Test Director etc. will be an advantage.

The Consultancy agreement will be up till 31st of March, 2012 with the possibility of extension.
